My parents have been convincing me to work at Germany. It’s easy for me since I also have a German passport so I don’t need any visa to go to Germany and I won’t be needing work permit to work there as well. That’s just one of the pro’s of having a dual citizenship
I’m a bit hesitant but at the same time excited about it. Hesitant and excited because I’ll be on my own! Yay! I’m scared of the idea but I also love the idea! I just submitted my CV to my Dad’s friend who says would help me secure a job, but he doesn’t want to promise anything yet. I really wish he could help me. I’d love to start soon to experience and learn new things
Blessed Sunday to everyone!
Sometimes I think about what it would be like to just up and leave, just find whatever I can along the way, with no care for the future.
My officemate plurked that a week ago, and I share the same sentiments. Like I said in my previous post, I am the kind of person who thinks about the future. I try as much as possible to prepare for what might happen in the future. When I am faced with an opportunity, I always weigh things and see if I’d have a future with that opportunity. I don’t want to experience a dead end, I don’t want to turn back, I always want to go forward.
But then again, not thinking of the future seems easy. Its as if you are just living in the moment, carefree. But I’m just not like that, I’m afraid to even attempt to be carefree and spontaneous. If only I could be one, but I can’t and I don’t think I’d ever be.
My first blog post for 2010
Happy new year everyone!
Just a quick update:
- My blog has been down for a couple of days for some unknown reason. My host and I are both hoping that would be the last longest downtime ever.
I’ve also upgraded to WordPress 2.9.
- I’ve started my Project 365, if you have a tumblr, follow me at leitratos.tumblr.com. I hope I’d be able to complete my Project 365.
- Yesterday, my bf and I made our 5 goals for 2010. I wrote it down on my 2010 planner. I hope we both accomplish our goals
- Back to work tomorrow, I hope something new and good is in store for me this 2010 career wise.
- For 2010, I also would like to be able to blog at least twice a week. I’ve been saying this for quite awhile now, but I really want to go back to blogging. I’d really want to earn from blogging again.
Two Saturdays ago my boyfriend was interviewed for a project of his friend’s friend. Since it was a Saturday, which is our day together I tagged along in meeting his friend and his friend’s friend
I was with them during the interview and one of the questions was “What advice could you give to the graduating students?”
If I was asked my advice would be: “Experience is the best teacher.” I know it doesn’t sound like an advice but with my situation right now this is what/how I relate best with. It may sound so cliché, but I do believe that experience is the best teacher. Every time we wake up to a new morning also comes new experiences. And each experience(s) will make us a better person. We might not realize it but our everyday experiences made us to who we are and where we are right now. We’re growing up into the kind of person we want to be because of our everyday experiences.
Each experience(s), whether good or bad teaches us a lot of things. We learn from our bad experiences or past mistakes. Trials make us stronger, tougher and wiser. We realize that the easiest solutions may not always be the best. And this helps us to grow and if we are faced with another trial we would know how to handle them already. If we do the same mistakes again, then it just shows that we have not learned from those mistakes.
A person can know a lot of things, be obsessed in getting high grades, be a perfectionist but can’t pass the lessons in life or be a fool when it comes to dealing with his/her life. Life is not perfect; life is not about getting high grades. The best lessons are those not found in textbooks.
Weird… I didn’t knew that comments were off in my last blog entry. Its turned on now so… comment away! Anyways, I just got home from McDonald’s. My boyfriend and I had our merienda there before he left for home. My car has leather seating now! Yay! How’s this for a very random post. *lol*
