I heard that song awhile ago while I was driving on my way home and those lines struck me. So as soon as I got to my room, I opened my laptop and searched for the lyrics. Its such a nice song I love the lyrics and the melody. For those in a LDR like Gel, surely could relate to the lyrics/song.

I’m contemplating on whether to purchase their album or not. Just like the thousands of people in the US, contemplating on what insurance to get from a vast number of insurance sales leads. I’m also moving to a new (online) home soon. I’ve decided on a name and hopefully before the month ends I’m all settled in my new home.

I’ve neglected my blog yet again. My domain (in-random.org) is expiring in two months time and I have no plans of renewing it since I really have not given much attention to it. I had plans for it but those plans did not materialize because of my lack of time and effort. Anyways, I have backed up my posts from in-random.org and hopefully I get a host for my orangebin.net. As you know, or if you haven’t noticed I just signed up for a free wordpress blog and “redirected” it to my domain name. I’d like to get a host so that I can install WordPress plugins and themes I’m still contemplating if I should buy for the web space or just search for a free but decent host.

Enough of the domain/site related talk, about two weeks ago I received my new cellphone. Its the Nokia E51 and I have yet to explore the phone. But so far, I love it. I’ve been eyeing to get one since late last year but I just couldn’t because it was still expensive for my budget. So when the opportunity to get the phone came, I grabbed it right away. I was able to purchase it for only 6,500Php because of my boyfriend’s rebate from his Globe postpaid plan. I’m super thankful to him for making me avail it instead of him.

Yup, I was at Makati for two days. I was there last Wednesday and yesterday for a training at DBWizards. The training was about Writing Queries Using Microsoft SQL Server 2005. I did not have any experience with SQL Server since from my first job we used Oracle Server. But there we’re still some similarities with some of the syntax. What really confused me the most was the interface of SQL Server. I kept on comparing SQL Server with TOAD (tool we use to access Oracle) just so I could get how SQL Server works.

Anyways, during our free time (lunch time). Since lunch usually starts at 11:30AM for us so we had a lot of free time… So during our free time, we went to Paseo Center. It was my first time to go to that place. And as soon as we entered Paseo Center, I saw shoes!!! They had running shoes and they even had shoes that may double as wedding shoes as well. No rain boots though, I mean with summer fast approaching here in our country who would need them, right? I was tempted to buy every single shoe that I saw *lol* But when we asked how much the shoes costs it was soo expensive! I believe they’re class A designer shoes. So we moved to another stall, the shoes we’re cute but not expensive this time. But I just couldn’t get myself to buy one since I just bought new shoes two weeks ago. Even though they had my shoe size, which I always have a hard time finding nice shoes that’s right for my size. I had to resist on buying them. So I left Paseo Center with a heavy heart and I still can’t imagine they have my shoe size I really just can’t get over the fact that we found that place. I swear when I go back to Makati, I’ll visit that place again and if they still carry a shoe for my size then I’ll buy from them.

There’s a lot of things to be happy about today. First of all, traffic was not that bad on the way to the office. Although there were a couple of cars who were very slow on the road, as if they were walking on the park or is just plain slow! And then when I got here at McKinley Hill and onto the parking lot, I saw a car going out of a slot… so I raced towards that direction and parked. Its quite near our building which is the first time I ever parked that near since we moved here in McKinley Hill. Another happy news is that my colleagues from Alabang will moved here on Monday! *joy* I know its only been a week since I last saw them, but we’ve been friends for two years (we all joined the company last August 2006) so just imagine the *bond* we have. And finally, I’m on leave tomorrow! *lol* I need to go to LTO for car registration tomorrow as it is the last day of the month (talk about procrastination). I also plan to go to a car shop and have my car glammed up, eh? I just plan to have new car tints, leather seating (or maybe a new seat cover), and probably have it auto detailed or if my budget doesn’t permit me then have it car washed only. *lol*

What’s keeping me busy here at work are ebooks! Ok, maybe only one ebook. But I plan to read some more… I just need to finish this one I’m reading and I’m off to find new ebooks to read. Right now, I’m currently reading PS I Love You by Cecilia Ahern. I’ve seen the movie before reading the book, and the movie and the book in concpet is the same but the story is very different Its day 3 today of reading the ebook, I just cannot concentrate at times because a boss might pass by the area and see me reading nonsense. *lol* Oh well… Need to stop blogging now.

Frustration

So my boyfriend and I planned to go to Asian Hospital at the Maxicare Representative clinic to have our respective check ups. We’ve been planning this since last December. I even called up the Maxicare hotline and even the Maxicare at Asian Hospital to confirm if they are open during weekends, Saturday to be specific. And both confirmed they’re open on Saturdays. Even the person I talked to at Asian Hospital told me that they’re open as early as 8:30AM and that we should arrive earlier because there’s a lot of people/patients during Saturdays. So when we got there it was already 9AM and guess what? At the front door it says that their office hours is at 10AM!!! But they we’re telling the truth when they said that there’s a lot of patients already waiting. So we waited until 9:30AM and the clinic was open but not by the Maxicare representative… it was for another clinic/doctor that has nothing to do with Maxicare. You see, Maxicare is just sharing a room with other doctors. The assistant of one of the doctors we’re calling and coordinating with Maxicare. And from what I heard the representative is on leave and Maxicare could not tell who will be reporting at Asian Hospital. A lot of patients we’re already waiting… I cannot breath because of the crowd in the clinic So my boyfriend and I just decided to leave. We will just try our luck at the Megamall branch next time

To vent out all of my frustrations, I went shopping. *lol* What an excuse huh? How I wish I could hit the jackpot at any internet casino website so I can just buy everything I see and like. So for my recent purchases, I bought a new black pants it was at 10% off. I also bought an orange t-shirt for 250Php, it’s very seldom that I get to buy a t-shirt for that cheap considering my size. And I also bought an office bag for just 290Php!! Original price was 899.75Php at Robinson’s Department store but apparently they’re on sale. I really couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the price because it was so cheap. I had to ask the saleslady if that’s the correct amount. *lol* And the finale of my purchase, is a new Creative ZEN. I was really looking forward to buy the 3rd generation iPod Nano. But all the stores we have checked out only carries the iPod Nanochromatic, so I ended up buying the Zen instead. What I like about it is that it has a card slot, so the memory is expandable I now need to search for a screen protector and a case for my new gadget.
