Ever since the 23^rd SEA Games, I always wanted to go and visit Singapore. But now that I am here I want to go home already. I arrived last Thursday via Singapore Airline’s SQ917 at around 5:30pm. Upon stepping out of the plane I didn’t know where exactly to go. This is my first time to travel alone and my first time here in Singapore. I was excited at first because finally I get to feel a bit of independence somehow. I have always wanted to be independent since I graduated from high school, yes high school. I wanted to study at a university in Manila so I could live in a dorm. But my parents didn’t agree with it and I studied at the same school I graduated high school from. After college graduation, there was some point in my life that I wanted to move out of the house already but since I am not earning that much yet then that would not be a good idea after all. The only independence I got is the financial side, since I don’t need to ask for money from my parents and I can buy anything that I want

Anyways, back to the story… I finally arrived at the hotel at around 6:30pm. The hotel is far from the city which sucks really. Because I’m stuck here I cannot go out even if I wanted to because this place is not known by some taxi drivers. I have been looking at a couple of maps already and even in the maps I have seen this place where I am located is not shown in the map So I am really having a hard time to go out and tour this country. Yesterday, I went to Turf City Mall. It’s quite near this place so I just walked going there. The place is an old horse racing course before but now they turned it to a small city kinda like Westgate/Ayala Alabang/Gateway. I just went around; I needed slippers since I wasn’t able to bring slippers with me. I looked around for slippers, until I finally found one. And then I went to the grocery to buy some stuff I still needed. After that I felt hungry and so I decided to go back in front of the mall where all the food stalls are located. A lot of people were eating so I just decided to buy take out since I couldn’t find any table where I could eat. I was back at my room and then had my lunch at around 2:30 in the afternoon. I had a very late dinner and my stomach was upset at around 2am in the morning today.

It started to rain hard as well early this morning. The weather is a bit gloomy up until now. I might go back to the mall later I saw one bag that I wanted to buy yesterday but I could not decide if I should buy it or not. Well now I have decided to buy it, I just hope its still there later
